Joshua 24:15
 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord,

choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the
 
gods which your fathers served that were on the other

side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in

whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house,

we will serve the Lord.
 

 
Choices
 
The choices we make determine the
 
course of our life. Right choices brings
 
life and peace, while wrong choices
 
bring death and misery.
The choices we have made in the past can
 
and do have lasting consequences on our lives today.
 
Choices of a marriage partner, of family or career;
 
 all these things help determine the course of our future.
If we are wise, we will seek God's Word for

information on the choices we make. Jesus will
 
lead and guide us in what we are to do if we but listen.
Often times we will make our choices,
 
then ask God to bless them! First we need
 
to seek God for our choices, then if we
 
follow His guidance, He will bless them.
Jeremiah 21:18
 
Thus saith the Lord; Behold,
 
I set before you the way of life, and the way of death.
Jeremiah 29:11
 
   For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,

saith the Lord,  thoughts of peace, and not
 
 of evil, to give you an expected end.
Romans 8:28
 
  And we know that all things work together for

good to them that love God, to them who are
 
 the called according to his purpose.
God wants us to live the abundant life.
 
He loves us, and He desires to give
 
us the best. However, at times we
 
make wrong choices, and in a sense, we
 
tie His Hands so that He cannot bless.
 
But He can make good come out of a
 
wrong choice. And He does forgive!
