Then they that feared the Lord
Spoke often one to another,
And the Lord hearkened and heard it;
And a book of remembrance was
written before Him
for them that feared the Lord,
and that thought upon His name.
"And They shall be Mine," saith the
Lord of hosts,
"In that day when I make up
And I will spare them
As a man spareth his own son
that serveth him."
What a wonderful promise! We as God's
children will be His 'jewels' if we speak to
one another about Him! He will have a
book of 'remembrance' written before Him!
How can we not speak about such a God as this!
To one another, and to those who do not yet
know Him we are compelled to talk about Him.
About His goodness, grace, mercy and love.
About His loving sacrifice He made for us
on the cross of Calvary. About His preparing
a place for us in Heaven. About His coming
again and taking us home to be with Him.
How could we NOT talk about Him?!
God says He will 'spare' us in that day
He makes up His Jewels, as a man sparee
his own son that serves him. Then the
righteous and the wicked will be discerned;
the righteous that serve Him, and the
wicked who do not.
I want to be one that speaks often about
my Jesus! I want my name to be
written in His book of rememberance!
I want to be His jewel in that
day He makes up His jewels!
"But unto you that fear my name shall the
Sun of righteousness arise with healing
in His wings."
"Healing in His wings!"
What a comforting thought! At times we
all need 'healing' for one thing or another.
This is a wonderful promise for those times,
and God's Word never fails. It has just
what we need at the time we need it!
How can we NOT talk to one another about
the God we serve?!
