A Christian

                              By: Debbie Steins
A Christian is like a flower. We start
out as a seed the Lord plants, then He
begins to get us rooted by watering
and fertilizing us as we begin to grow.
He puts a little rain and sunshine on
us, then He begins to "weed out" the
                        briars and brambles. Blessings and
trials come our way so that He may
remove all the things that do not
belong.
At times it seems hard and it is
difficult for us to get started. When
we do get started, it is hard to
         stay alive. Some of us make it;
but others fade away, wilt and die
because the battles get too rough.
The ones that stay alive then begin
to grow, to blossom.....until
one day the flower becomes a rose!
